I ended up finding a really nice theme that was still inside my desired color scheme yet was very clean and easy on the eyes. Theme is called deCoder. Here’s a link to the developer’s website. http://webdemar.com/

I really like this theme. However it seems it isn’t properly updated for 2.7 yet so forgive any issues that arise because of it. Hopefully it will be updated by someone. I wish I could tackle it but my lack of time to devote to a project I know not much about doesn’t help any.
